Hays Take On: Pryes Brewing
Hays Take On: Pryes Brewing
A brewery on the edge of the Mississippi that raises the bar for taprooms, food, and brews.
Atmosphere
Pryes taproom is both spacious and beautiful, with tons of different option for seating and activities. Before you enter the building you’ll notice their large outdoor patio that leads into their bar and main taps where you can try out many of their freshly brewed beers. Around the bar is plenty of different seating space, from 2-4 person tables, to bar tops, to barrels to gather around to enjoy your beverages or food. They also feature a unique game called feather bowling that’s definitely worth giving a try!
What We Had
While this may be a brewery, Pryes has also created a great menu through their guest kitchen with Cason Italian Eatery. From meatballs to cheese boards to wood fired pizza, everything is flavorful and unique, so don’t be afraid on planning to have dinner here with your craft brew. Pryes keeps things fresh with their beers by rotating in tons of small batch options, but we definitely love their staples like the Royal Raspberry Sour that’s light and enjoyable as well as the Miraculum which is a citrus forward IPA.
The Take
Pryes is setting a new standard for taproom atmospheres, from food to beers to games, this spot is both unique and excellent.
